Now you're just somebody that I used to know

Contrast faux fur coat & white round sunglasses: ASOS | Red daisy print dress &
patent black loafers: TOPSHOP

A bit more of a girlie look than usual from me today, but it's always nice to change things up from time to time, right?  I usually avoid buying dresses as they are not really as versatile as separates, but sometimes I just can't help it.  When I bought this one I was planning to be able to wear it loads of times, on its own (like now), and with a grey chunky knit in the colder months.  I even spotted a H&M mustard cardigan which I thought would look awesome with this dress, but seeing as I have none of these things, it's appearing to be quite a challenge.  I do get some compliments when I wear it and as much as I love the colour and the print, I might end up selling it if it's just gonna become an item which I hardly wear.  I do think it looks great with this ASOS coat, though, which I've been wearing quite a bit recently.  It's always a good idea for us Englanders to wear a winter coat over a what-would-have-been-summery outfit.  This usually results in my mum saying "Dem, why on earth have you got that big coat on?!", "Because it's winter!  Kind of..." I protest.
Like I said yesterday, it's good to step away from the trusty Converse every now again, and so I opted for my chic loafers.  Oh, and my current favourite sunnies which I just can't seem to get enough of.  I really believe this outfit (as well as many others) wouldn't be the same without them, though, am I right, or am I right?
I was practically dragged along to watch 'The Possession' at the movies yesterday, thanks to my mother and brother, after they claimed it would 'be a laugh'.  Did they later regret this?  Yes, of course they bloody did.  It was HORRIBLE.  My brother hid behind his hands most of the time, and he's seen 'Paranormal Activity' (I can't even watch their adverts).  I was trying to console myself before the movie thinking 'It's okay, it's not real, IT'S NOT REAL!', but obviously then up comes the big screen saying 'Based on a true story'.  Cue lots of 'Oh god oh god oh god' from me.  If you're into the scaries, though, I think it's actually really good.  I mean, from someone who is afraid of the dark, it's quite hard to appreciate a horror movie, but I thought they made it really well.  I had to watch it all the way through and didn't even pretend to need a wee at any point in the movie.
'The Hunger Games' is out on DVD today (much more my thing) which I think I might buy as my mum wants to watch it, and I would have done anyway because it is AWESOME.  Am currently on the third book which I am really enjoying, too.  I also want to buy 'The Warrior'. I have no idea what it's about and I'm not really into fighting films (I think it's a fighting film...), but it has Tom Hardy in it and... well, that's it really.
Hope you all had a nice weekend!
