2. Out of everything on my wishlist this week, I've got to say this is my favourite (just).  It was love at first sight for me.  The pattern, the colours, the shape... Perfect!  It's an adrogynous piece so I'd go all out and team it with some boyfriend jeans and Converse.  Best- no, worst thing is, there's a matching skirt too which I saw yesterday.  NOW I MUST HAVE BOTH.  Please, please, oh please, get in my wardrobe.  No, really.
3. Howww cuh-uuute is this ring?  Very apt too seeing as I spend half of my life drawing at the moment.  Want!
4. I'm really digging all the sheer mesh panels on clothes at the moment (thanks Alexander Wang), this skirt is really cool and sexy and perfect for summer when worn with a cropped tee/cami vest.
5. Daaaaaamn this is one sexy shirt.  The colours are right up my street, let's all just take a moment to imagine this with some skin-tight leather pants and blue hi-tops (see #1).  Yep, I am there.  I am so there.
6. I saw this dress last night and actually really like it.  I say 'actually' because it's a bit girlie for my style, but I can only imagine how fit it would look with my arm tattoos (once I get them, that is...) and some red lipstick.  Ergh, be mine, BE MINE NOWWWWWW.
7. Sexy black dress with the cool, sports luxe feel which is always huge in summer seasons.  Need I say more?

Three ways to wear... A floral shirt

Floral shirt: RIVER ISLAND

... With bright coloured skinny jeans: Sometimes with strong prints people tend to try to tone them down with more neutral items.  I, however, am going the complete other way with this outfit and really bringing out all the colours of the shirt with these neon pink jeans.  I did de-girlie the outfit though, with this casual pair of Converse.
... Under a skater dress: If you own a button-up shirt and a dress, I suggest you try combining them both together.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.  Finding a different way to wear a dress should always be welcomed, as they're not as versatile as separates can be.
... With a short skirt & faux fur: I gothed it up a bit in this look, but I think teaming the shirt with black makes the colours in the shirt pop just as much as the neon jeans do.  If I have my legs on show I usually button the shirt to the top and don't roll the sleeves up, to balance it out.  I'd definitely recommend investing in a faux fur gilet, as it is such a great layering piece.

Ohhhhh holy moley moley holy.  I could probably just keep this post with this picture alone and leave it at that, as I am sure a lot of you shoe lovers will appreciate these babies already, but I might as well just ramble on about their how unbelievably awesome they are.  Let's just ingore the price tag for a few minutes, 'kay?  Yeah, let's.
As you will know if you are a reader of my blog, I love my Converse.  Like, a lot.  I wear them with at least 95% of my outfits.  I don't attempt to get into clubs for a fat rave, but if I did, I'd probably be turned away, because I would be wearing my Chucks.  Because of my long term relationship with them, I have grown to love a variety of awesome trainers, although they are usually studded Louboutins which are way way WAY out of my price range, so I have to move on and (try to) forget them.  However, I spotted these babies in Kurt Geiger's campaign in Vogue a month or so ago, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the shoesies in the above picture.  Which I guess is what they were aiming for, right?
I think high-tops have a way of instantly giving any outfit the cool factor.  Can we please just take a moment to imagine a little black dress and a leather jacket teamed with one of these pair of sneakers?  Oh yeah, that's good.  Or you could just go completely the other way and pair them with an androgynous suit, like in this shoot.  And they look just as amazing.  Are they versatile?  Oh, absolutely.
They might not be your thing, and you might look at these and think 'Hmm, think I'll stick to my ballet flats!/heels!/whatevers!', and I know a lot of you would rather spend this amount of money on a fierce pair of Jeffrey Campbells, but trust me, these are SO up my street.  Like seriously, they could be my nextdoor neighbours.
So, maybe this story doesn't have a 'happy ever after' and this is where it ends.  But I can keep pretending, right?

So boy forget about the world...

Layering your clothes is always a massive trend in the winter (how could it not be?  It's literally necessary to do it in English winters) so I thought I'd try a little bit of summer layering.  Putting a dress over a top is something which I've wanted to try for a while now.  Whenever they have the '6 different ways to wear a shirt/dress' (or whatever) feature in magazines one of the looks always has them layered like this, however I usually shy away from it in fear of it looking just not right on me.  Despite this I decided to just go for it because I wanted a new way to wear this dress and thankfully I am quite pleased with how it looks!  Because I don't have the amount of money one would need to wear something new and different everyday, being able to remix items in my wardrobe is pretty much a necessity, and layering my dresses like this is now definitely something I will be experimenting with more often.  What do you think of this idea?  Have you/would you try it? 
Due to the colour of the dress it goes perfectly with the pastel pinks and blues on the shirt, which made the look much easier to pull off.  I teamed them with my surprisingly clean and new-looking hi-tops to keep the look fresh and girlie albeit with a slighly sporty edge.  Very tennis chic, I suppose?  Am not planning to play tennis, however, so not sure if that's a good thing or not...

Pastel green

ALL TOPSHOP

Ooooh am fully embracing the pastel trend this season.  The weather yesterday was pretty insane to say it's March, my dad even complained that it was 'too hot', he's definitely British.  I don't know if you can tell (I've had it for years) but the image on my tee is of Queen in the 'I want to break free' video when they're all dressed up as women, which I bought years ago.  I love a bit of Queen!  I think it was the back that really made me like it as I haven't really seen anything like it before, I've even bought a men's t-shirt since and done the same thing to the back of it to make it more feminine looking. 

Am also wearing my new hi-tops because as I've said before as time goes on I'm liking the sports luxe trend more and more, and seeing as they were only under thirty pounds (pretty good for a pair of shoes, right?) I thought 'why not'.  However the low price is probably explained in the fact that one shoe has a velcro buckle thing, whereas the other shoe doesn't... I was, and still am, completely baffled at it.  I'm gonna assume they're probably not meant to be that way, but is it just my shoes or all the others?!  I didn't buy them in my local Topshop so I can't check, but I still think I'm going to keep them though, I can pull of the whole hip/gangster look with my cool undone velcro thing going on... right? 

Yeeeeah don't answer that.

Lots of different items on this week!  As you can probably see I am really into minty blue colours, hence the Nike hi-tops, I don't even like Nike hi-tops?  Except these ones of course, these ones are genius... And totally tick off the whole sporty chic trend going down next season.
I've been fighting with myself over the past few days about whether I want this tiger top or not.  I've always loved tigers, they're beautiful animals, and thus was drawn to this top in a second, but I am trying to drag myself out of wearing anything t-shirt like in order to move on to more grown-uppy stuff like shirts and blouses.  But maybe this one could be an exception... But you know what, I won't be coming anywhere close to buying these any time soon and I broke my spending ban last night, as I mentioned in my earlier outfit post, and therefore trying desparately not to spend any more!  But I don't really feel bad, it was a well thought-out decision (I'm such a nerd) and ASOS are having a 20% sale off at the moment so I couldn't really say no to that, could I?
