Aaaah I love this shirt.  I've never even been a fan of tie- dye but there is something about this shirt!  I nearly didn't wear the blazer but I thought that my outfit was looking a bit too blue, I really like the necklace with this top, too.
We actually had some sun today, so what the heck is going on there I do not know, but I'm not complaining.  I can't wait for the days where I can go out without actually having to wear my coat all the time.
I hope you've had a nice weekend, I've had a chilled day in but I think I'm going bowling tonight, which will undoubtedly bring out my competitive side...

Wearing my new favourite shirt today!  I am so glad I ended up buying it because I very nearly didn't, but now I know I can wear it with a lot of things in my wardrobe, probably because it's filled with lots of colours.  I wasn't sure if it would work well with these jeans because they are more of a winter-appropriate colour, but after placing the two next to each other I decided that I really do like them together.  Don't you love it when that happens?!
I awoke early this morning in order to attend a university open day, ended up being half an hour late, only to get there and find out that we were actually an hour and a half late, so I ended up missing all the important stuff and just decided to leave.  But as I am not one to waste eight pounds spent on buses, we took a trip to Topshop and purchased some hi-tops after being inspired by Jazmine's look here, silver lining in every cloud and all that!

Oookay, so maybe I promised to wear something more colourful today, but maybe I broke it, aw maaahn.  I love the look of the jumper with the pleather though, simple but effective!  As much as I love my new, a-size-too-big jumper, I don't want to have to wear it.  I'm sick of the cold weather now, and even though many people on my Twitter timeline have been enjoying some sunshine over the past few days, I haven't seen any of it.
I'm visiting Manchester Met University tomorrow (yes, I know it's a Met) for the Fashion Buying & Merchandising course, which by the name alone immeditiately sounds better than the course at Manchester University.  I'm kind of hoping I won't prefer it though, as Manchester is a better university, and plus I'm pretty sure that's where my boyfriend will go, so either way it's a bit of a win-lose situation!  Hopefully something will eventually guide me in the right direction.

I get style inspiration from several places but the main sources of my inspiration are fashion blogs, and without them I wouldn't have started mine.  I catch up with them everyday and I don't only admire their pictures but I read what they have to say because I love finding out where they got their inspiration from for that particular outfit.  This is where my fashion inspiration has come from this week, so they deserve at least a little bit of credit!

Short suit

I am keeping it very simple today in my black & grey ensemble, however I do promise to be more colourful in my next outfit post.  I love the idea of a short suit, and I really want to try a pastel-coloured one in summer, but I can't find a cheap blazer anywhere, never mind with the matching shorts, so this black one (which were bought seperate so technically isn't even a suit) will have to suffice.  I think with the Converse this outfit slightly reflects the popular sporty trend this summer, but I'm dying to leap right in and purchase some hi-tops to team with more feminine pieces, like a denim dress? 
My nails are in the nuddy today, I haven't really had time to paint them (read: forgot).  I am loving aqua blues at the moment but I haven't yet found a polish in the perfect colour.
