Sport top & red pom pom hat: TOPSHOP | Chunky gold necklace: ASOS | Red skinny leather pants & boyfriend watch: RIVER ISLAND | Shoes: CONVERSE

This t-shirt is quickly becoming one of my favourites, I've already worn it quite a lot considering I only bought it a few weeks ago.  I can tell that I am going to be fully embracing the sports luxe trend this summer.  The loose fit means I can't wear it with everything in my wardrobe without looking like a gangstah who wears everything from the XXXL store, as a result I like to go extremely skinny and tight on the bottom half.  I'm talking like so it looks like my pants have been painted on, that skinny.  I've already worn it with my new camo pants so I thought I'd wear my red coated trousers next.  I think they go really well together and the burgundy looks great against the monochrome colours of the top.  I thought I'd add my snuggly hat and, oh look, it matches with my pants.  Totally unintentional, these things just come naturally y'know.
I also added some chunky jewellery just to remind everyone that I am actually a female and I quite like wearing feminine items too.  Just getting that out there.

'Cause I'm aching and I know you are too

Stripe dress: TOPSHOP | Watch: RIVER ISLAND | Shoes: CONVERSE

This dress is beautiful.  I didn't realise how much so until looking back over these pictures.  I bloody adore it.  As well as the playsuit I showed you in last night's post, I also grabbed this in the sale.  I got this for the same price - £20 - but this was reduced from £60.  Sixty.  When I looked at the tag in the shop my eyes nearly popped out of my head, that's a saving of forty whole pounds.  One could buy another dress at full price with that.  Dayummmm.
Again I hadn't seen this before until I spotted it on the sales rack, but once I'd had my eye on it I couldn't leave it.  Oh no no no.  I think a lot of girls, despite their styles, sometimes just want an amazing dress which is going to make them feel good.  For me, this is the dress.  I usually go for casual dresses which are more daytime appropriate, but nothing about this dress exactly screams 'I'm just going out to the shops'.  I do have a tendency to overdress, though, and seeing as I don't go on glamorous nights out or for restaurant meals (hint hint, I'd be happy for someone to take me on one, k thnx) then I just think "why the hell not?".  What is stopping me from wearing this to uni?  Uh, nothing.
The shape of the dress is one I really like.  There was a dress in a coral colour in the exact same shape in Topshop's summer stock, and I wanted to get my hands on that one but didn't end up doing, so this is my first one in the shape.  I don't know what it is, I suppose it's because it's kind of boyish and simple?  Not making sense?  Never mind.  The colours match my style perfectly as I don't have a girlie-girl style so I can still wear a dress without it being too, er, fluffy.  Argh, this is just my IDEAL dress for ANYTHING.  And I got it for twenty quid!  The Converse and red lipstick just make it even more perfecto.
Today I went to see 'Les Misérables', and it was bloody beautiful.  Hugh Jackman and Eddie Redmayne (who I've never even come across before - hotttt!) completely stole the show for me.  The fact that all the singing was done live just made it loads better.  Mum and I are massive criers when it comes to movies and I've heard a lot of people say they 'cried like four times', but we only did twice.  We were terrible at the ending though, which wasn't even that sad it's just 'cause they were singing beautifully and BOOM I was an emotional wreck.  I'm not even massively into musicals but it's a very lovely film.  Have you seen?  What did you think?
I also got another tattoo, will post about that tomorrow!

'Cause your sex takes me to paradise

Tassel jumper & ring: TOPSHOP | Chunky boyfriend watch & red leather pants: RIVER ISLAND | Shoes: CONVERSE

Oh I do love this outfit.  Guess what?  I went shopping!  Yep, spending ban was obliterated as soon as I went anywhere near a shop.  It started with this jumper and ring, which my mum very kindly bought for me (thanks mummy bear!) and then these pants which I was more than happy to purchase.
Let's start with the jumper, I have wanted this since it came in stock and it was full price, need I say more?  The only thing better than getting a good bargain in the sales, is getting a good bargain on something you've wanted for a while.  This jumper was reduced from like forty to twenty pounds, I think, so definitely a good deal.  I just really like how it's kind of 'undone', if that makes sense?  I think the tassels give it a really cool touch, and it's so soft too!  Bonus.
On to the pants.  Oh my gosh, the pants.  I have gone on and on about my much-loved black leather pants from River Island, so I when I was shopping with my mum and I saw these I grabbed them and ran to the changing rooms, with my mum doing the same with a black pair.  We were both extremely pleased with our finds and purchased them, without hesitations, at twenty five pounds each.  Bargain with a capital 'B'!  Leather pants are definitely one of my favourite things to wear and they certainly bring my inner rock-chick out, plus when they fit right, they look so good.  Am I bragging?  I don't care - HAVE YOU SEEN THESE PANTS?!
I thought they went perfectly with the jumper as the cool, rocky vibe of the outfit goes nicely with the shredded effect of it, and the monotone colours are practically asking for the colour of the pants to be added to the outfit.  I couldn't imagine any better shoes to go with the look than some black and white Converse.  BOOM, done.  I know we're only ten days in, but this is definitely one of my favourite outfits of the year...
Aaaanyway, on to an update from me.  What's been happening lately?  Well, I finished my Christmas holidays and went back to uni (booo) and have a fed deadlines this month (double booo!) so nothing exciting, really.  I am back home now though, which I was definitely ready for.  After a whole three days of being away... Yeah.  It's given me the chance to film another video which will be up on my channel in about an hour, so keep your eyes out if you're interested!
I'm not sure what I'll be doing for the next few days, I know 'Les Miséables' comes out soon (tomorrow?) which I am so looking forward to watching, and I'm not even big on musicals.  If it has Hugh Jackman though, it's bound to be good.
Hubba hubba.

Wishful Wednesday

1. I saw this in my local Topshop the other week and thought the cross elbow patches were really cool.  A bit pricey for what you get, but cool all the same.
2. I think hats are great accessories to add to any outfit, and this chain adds a perfect edge to the hat.
3.  Rucksacks are the perfect alternative to your average handbag.  The spikes and the faux leather just make it the bestest bag EVER.
4. I've been after a boyfriend watch foreverrrr, and this is the closest I can get to a Michael Kors watch without the hefty price tag.  I like the mix of rose gold and silver, too.
5. I usually go for quite fun rings, such as my moustache one, but I really like the colours on this one.  The spikes on the sides stop it from being too dressy, as well.
6.  This is just wicked.  Awesome with a pair of skinnies, Converse and a faux leather jacket.  Yes.
