January outfits recap

This month seems to have lasted quite long for me.  Not in a bad way, but I look at the first outfit from the above pictures and it seems like aaaages ago, not sure why.  To be fair I have done a year's worth of shopping in January alone, so that could be the reason... But what with awesome finds in the sales, awesome finds which weren't in the sales, how could anyone blame me?  One of my new year's goals was to buy more statement pieces and come out of my comfort zone in respect to my style.
Mission accomplished, I think.

December recap

This month has been the month of no shopping.  I've got a huge overdraft to pay off due to past shopping trips, which means no shopping, no spending Christmas money, no sales bargains - nothing.  And you know what?  I've done a bloody good job.  If you'd told me a couple of weeks ago that I'd be resisting the sales this year, I would have laughed in your face, but I've even proved myself wrong and stayed away.  You don't know what a shopping addiction is until you've seen my overdraft, and I'm not saying I'm cured as being away from Manchester has probably been a huge help, but maybe I'll be a bit more sensible now though.  Much more easier said than done, but we'll see.
Despite this I still have a wide variety of outfits to wear in my wardrobe that have kept me satisfied.  As long as I still have new combinations to explore I'm okay.
My favourite outfit from the last month is definitely the all-black look with the skull top and the faux fur gilet.  Do you have one?

November Recap

 

Ah, November.  I haven't got bored of winter yet, I'm still in the stage when I wake up and smile because the sun is in the sky and the frost is on the ground.  There's just something very pretty about winter, and it makes me want to get wrapped up, go for a long walk and take lots of pictures.  I can't say I'll be saying the same thing in next month's recap post, though, as it's just now getting to the point where the cold is getting to my feet when I'm outside.  And once my feet are cold, they won't get warm until I'm tucked up in bed hours and hours later.  I am enjoying dressing for the cold, though, and still feel like I can look stylishly snug.  Do you have a favourite look from the ones above?  I would really like to know which!
I hope you all have a lovely December, I am looking forward to putting up the Christmas tree, and finishing uni in a couple of weeks.  Oh, and CHRISTMAS.
