I featured this body chain (which was bought in the sale) in my 'Topshop jewellery haul' this weekend and said it'd be a great way to add edge to any outfit, and here I am!  Ta-daaah.  I decided to wear it with an all-black outfit today, because what better way to dress up a little black dress than with some gold jewellery and red lipstick?  As seen on Chanel S/S '12 runway, I think these are already my favourite piece of jewellery to wear, they make a statement and they're unique, they add a cool factor to any simple outfit.  I only have this one but I just want to buy all the different ones I see.  They're not the easiest thing to put on ('Where on earth does my head go?') but I got there in the end.  I am all for making what-would-have-been-boring pieces a bit more interesting, so these are perfect!  I think this is one the times when 'less is more' doesn't apply, because there's no way this outfit would look equally as good with a thin gold necklace on, am I right, or am I right?  They're becoming more and more popular and you can even buy a chain for your leg.  Or how about a bra?  You're spoilt for choice, really!  What do you think, would you wear one?  I love a statement necklace, but these are a great alternative, I think.
P.S. I heard about the Rihanna and River Island collaboration the other day and I am SO excited for it!  You might have read last week my post on Rihanna being one of my style icons, so I am already saving up for it and planning to buy, er, EVERYthing.  I'm not usually a sucker for collaborations, but I'm already all over this one!
